HUGE TURNOUT FOR TRIPLE GRAND SLAM 2

Sizzling temperatures did not deter the 82 teams that played at Victory Lane, Desert West and Papago Parks on June 7 & 8th. The huge field of Men's, Women's and Coed teams competed for the available berths on the road to the Championships which will be held on September 6 & 7 at Victory Lane and Rose Mofford Parks.

In the Triple Grand Slam Series, teams receive awards as usual but as a bonus $50 from each team's entry fee is deposited into an award fund and divided up among the First, Second and Third Place teams in the Championships. The Triple Grand Slam Series tournaments fill up so quickly that there is always a waiting list to enter. Every team must qualify to play in the Championships. In 2007 over $10,000 in award money was given back to the winning teams at the Championships. The Triple Grand Slam Series, with a total award package of over $25,000, is a partnership between Worth Sports and Tournament Sports bringing a quality Championship event to the Arizona Sports area. The top 8 teams in each of the Men's Divisions and the top 6 in the Coed and the Women qualify to play in the TRIPLE GRAND SLAM CHAMPIONSHIPS on September 6 & 7.

The Final Leg of the Triple Grand Slam and last chance for teams to qualify for the Championships will be held on August 23 & 24 in Flagstaff at the newly renovated Thorpe Park.
